Privacy notice
Last updated 19 October 2026
This notice explains how MED SERVICES LTD ("Med Services", "we", "us") collects and uses personal information when you visit this website, contact us, or work with us as a client, supplier or partner. We take our responsibilities under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 seriously.
Some of our services are provided under their own trading names and have their own websites. Where that is the case, that website's privacy notice explains how personal information is used for that service. MED SERVICES LTD remains the controller.

We are the controller of the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us about anything in it at hello@medservicesuk.com or by post to our registered office. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer because the law does not require us to, but a director is responsible for data protection.

| Purpose | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Running and securing this website, and preventing misuse | Legitimate interests (keeping our website available and secure) |

| Occasional business updates to existing business contacts | Legitimate interests. You can opt out at any time and every message will tell you how. |
Where we rely on legitimate interests we have weighed them against your rights, and you can object at any time (see section 7). We do not sell personal information and we do not make decisions about you by automated means that have legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information only where we need to, and only with:
- service providers who act on our instructions: website hosting, email, cloud storage, accounting software and IT support;
- our professional advisers, such as accountants, lawyers and insurers;
- subcontractors or partners who help deliver work you have asked for, under a written agreement;
- HMRC, regulators, the police or courts where the law requires it; and
- a buyer or investor if all or part of our business is reorganised or sold, under confidentiality terms.
5. International transfers
Some of our service providers store or process information outside the UK. When they do, we make sure the transfer is protected: either the country has UK adequacy regulations, or we use the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, together with any extra safeguards needed.
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 2 years after our last contact.
- Client, supplier and partner records, contracts and correspondence: 6 years after the relationship ends (the period in which legal claims can usually be brought).
- Accounting and tax records: 6 years from the end of the financial year they relate to, as the law requires.
- Website server logs: kept by our hosting provider for a short period, normally no more than 30 days, unless needed to investigate a security problem.
After that we delete or anonymise it.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete it, where we no longer have a reason to keep it;
- ask us to restrict how we use it;
- object to our use of it where we rely on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time;
- ask us to transfer information you gave us to another organisation, where we rely on contract or consent; and
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on it.
To use any of these rights, email hello@medservicesuk.com. We will reply within one month. There is normally no charge.
8. Keeping information secure
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including access controls, two-step sign-in on our business accounts, encryption in transit and reputable service providers bound by contract. Only people who need information to do their job can see it.
9. Questions or concerns
If you have a question or concern about how we use your information, please contact us. You can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
